BSF GD Constable Sports Quota Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification
Candidates need to have completed Matriculation (10th grade) or an equivalent exam from a recognized board.
Sports Qualification:
Only people who have taken part in or won medals at the competition levels mentioned in Para 4(b) of this ad within the last two years from the closing date of the ad are eligible.
Individual Events (International / National):
People who have taken part in or won medals in any international sports event recognized by the International Olympic Association while playing for the Indian team in the last two years from the closing date of the ad are eligible.
Additionally, people who have won medals in National Games, National Championships, or National Open Championships, recognized by the Indian Olympic Association or the relevant Sports Federation, including Junior National Level Championships, between 15.01.2024 and 15.01.2026, are also eligible.
Team Events (International / National):
For team events, people who have won any medal in National Games, National Championships (Junior or Senior), or any recognized sports meet held by the respective Federation/Association, recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports or the Indian Olympic Association, between 15.01.2024 and 15.01.2026, while representing a State/UT/Sports Control Board, are eligible.
The candidate must be an active player on the team. However, this rule does not apply to medals won in international tournaments.

Height
- For males, the minimum height required is 170 cm.
- For females, the minimum height required is 157 cm.
Chest Measurement (Only for Male Candidates)
